Seems like in life, there are always big choices to be made, sides to be chosen between big rivalries: Betmax vs VHS, Bluray vs HD-DVD. Here are some sides I choose between rivalries and what I think about them. Oh, by saying Side A > Side B, I am not saying that Side A is better. I am just saying that I prefer A over B.

Apple > Microsoft

Macs are tools that help you. PCs running Windows hinder you.

Canon > Nikon

I originally picked Canon for their superior sensors and image processors. I now like them for their better user interface.

Intel > AMD

Intels are so powerful now. And motherboards for Intel chips are slightly cheaper.

Nvidia > ATI

Ever since my first GeForce 4, I have sided Nvidia.

Democrat > Republican

I don’t even want to delve into this. Fully explaining would require way too much time.

Ferrari > Lamborghini

Lamborghinis are for flaunting. Ferraris are for driving.

*NSYNC > Backstreet Boys

I just couldn’t like the sound of Backstreet Boys songs. I liked the catchy tunes of *NSYNC better.

Briefs > Boxers

Briefs are so much more comfortable.

Wheat Bread > White Bread

I actually prefer 15-grain bread. It actually has taste unlike white bread that tastes like nothing.

Brown Rice > White Rice

Brown rice has such a nice nutty flavor.

Girls > Boys

I’m straight. Not much explanation needed.

Pencils > Pens

You can erase graphite. Pencil wins hands down.

Where do you guys side on these issues? I don’t think one combination is necessarily better than another, but it is fun to see all the different mixes people are.
