Week in NY 11/15-11/21/2010

Wow this post is late. I guess the laziness of Thanksgiving really kicked in.

Lunch on Monday started with a $3 Dosa from the Vegenation food cart. It wasn’t the best dosa I have ever had, but it was a decent deal. Vegenation and the other Dosa cart (which has better dosas) have been really competing with each other. Bwog wrote about it here.

Then while studying, I baked some cookies.

Then for dinner, Phil and I topped a frozen pizza with kimchi and other toppings to make a kimchi pizza!

Then on Wednesday, before working on Advanced Logic Design, Vinny and I got dinner at the Korilla Truck again. I have to say that the quality and service has increased drastically since the last time I ate there. Maybe I should go revise my Yelp review ^^.

Later that day I go to the Lambda suite to find that my little bro got the coolest paddle ever for me. Wow.

On Thursday, Walter LeCroy, founder of LeCroy, came to to speak to the EE practice class. It was an inspirational talk because he is an alumnus of Columbia University.

On Friday, the members of ADI and ACM headed over to the Hunch.com offices to hear some talks about startups, working at startups and founding startups. It was my second time visiting Hunch!

People from a few local startups including OMGPOP were there.

Then finally on Sunday, the we crossed 9 new brothers into our fraternity. It was a great time.

Then we had dinner with Ian and David, alumni of LPhiE.
